Felted Bag Giveaway

Felted Bag Giveaway

free crochet pattern felted bag felting

Last year I decided to design knitting and crochet projects and publish them on my blog. It all started more or less by accident: I read about a crochet submission for a book on Ravelry and send in a project. The project got accepted, which made me start thinking: Why not start making and sharing more new patterns?  The whole process of designing and writing down the pattern is so much more fun than following another person’s pattern.

People from around the globe send in comments and engage in these projects. It is fulfilling to know, that somewhere someone is getting made a gift from my humble notes. This blog is also my contribution to the fiber community, which has so many possibilities now sharing information in foras, blogs, social media etc.

100 Followers Giveaway

The audience of my blog is growing steadily and now a little more than 100 people from 4 continents are following it. I want to celebrate this by holding a giveaway.

You can win the Bloody Mary Bag, which I crocheted and felted a couple of months ago. All you have to do is to write a comment on this blog post. You don’t have to be a follower to participate in this contest.

The last day for participating in the giveaway is Wednesday, January 25th.

The contest is open to all readers worldwide.

On Thursday 26th I will pick a lucky winner.

Update

Thanks to everyone for participating in the giveaway and for all the nice comments on the bag! This is the first time I’m trying a giveaway on my blog and it is a fun way of communicating with my readers.

Silvina in California is the lucky winner of the bag. It is on the way to her very soon:-)

Great arty design! Thankyou so much for your patterns. This chirpy little bag is just the best pressie for a new Mum to be, that I know. My niece and nephew are having their first baby in a few weeks. This bag would sit very well on Mum’s shoulder, as strolls along the beach esplanades with her hubby and baby girl. You are a person after my own heart. I am hoping to get into designing something this year, although I don’t know if I’ll have the time. Seeing all of these beautiful designs on line and in magazines got the bug going in me again. I love the design of your bag, and I can honestly say that I haven’t seen one like it before. I’ve never tried felting before, either, since I haven’t had the guts to try it. Congratulations on a job well done!!

  58. I saw this lovely bag, and thought that’s the perfect bad to go with my wifes favourite outfit, but since I am clueless when it comes to felting I nearly passed out over as a “I’ll never be able to make that” but now that I see it’s being given away maybe I’ll be able to get one for her after all. But then I may not, guess, I’ll just have to learn how to felt!

What a great bag – I knew you could felt knitted works, but didn’t realize that you could use this technique on a crocheted piece. I absolutely adore the Fox bag!!
